It was all perfect! We were so stuffed from the great food we couldn't finish our bottle but we were able to take it home and finish on our patio. The rest of our meal was amazing! He had fish and chips and I had salmon. Later in the evening on our way out the door we noticed the chef had actually been written up in a local paper about his invention, awesome! My husband is dead set on figuring out how to make them at home. It looks like a crab cake, but its chowder. OMG! Literally one of the best things I have every had. We couldn't decide about an appetizer so Mitchel, our server, recommended hat we try the try the "Fried Claim Chowder." Hmm sounded interesting, so we went for it. We ordered a bottle of wine, and it arrived very cold and in it's own chiller. ![]() He was very nice and let us know he would be right with us. ![]() We immediately could tell that we landed in the right spot, since there were two large birthday groups gathered, we knew the locales were fans, great sign! Our server was running around a bit, catching up from his very rambunctious birthday party, so we looked over the menu for a few moments. We landed at The Skipper Restaurant & Chowder House, thank you to all you other Yelpers out there for pointing us in the right direction! It was freezing out and their roof top deck was all enclosed and nicely warm. We were in search of some sea food, not that hard on The Cape, and a great view, again not that hard on The Cape. We had the best time at the Skipper while on our Honeymoon the past May.
